Pre-Advertisement Notice for Centrifuge Parts Services and Repairs

The City of Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management is initiating a competitive sealed bid process to secure an ongoing supply of original equipment manufacturer parts, related equipment, and associated services for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of centrifuges manufactured by Alfa Laval, Andritz, and Flottweg installed across city facilities. The procurement will proceed through a two-phase approach beginning with a prequalification stage that evaluates bidders on firm experience, team structure, and qualifications of key personnel to ensure only capable and qualified vendors advance to the formal bid phase. Only manufacturer-certified or authorized service and parts distributors will be considered, and all components must be genuine OEM or manufacturer-approved, accompanied by proper certifications, quality assurance documentation, and a minimum 12-month warranty against defects. The contract requires strict adherence to OSHA and Georgia OSHA safety standards along with additional quality assurance measures including sampling, facility inspections, indemnification clauses, and reimbursement for travel expenses incurred in performing services. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be held to clarify requirements and allow potential bidders to ask questions, with all responses due by July 23, 2026, under solicitation number PE-66062-NONST-2026-000000428.
