The City of Atlanta on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management (DPW), will shortly undergo a multistep competitive sealed bid to an IFB process compromised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) towards the procurement of an ongoing supply of OEM parts, related equipment, and associated services to maintain, repair, and replace centrifuges from Alfa Laval (Aldec), Andritz, and Flottweg installed across City facilities. Interested firms will be evaluated during the prequalification phase to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements for firm experience, team and key personnel qualifications. The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor will provide manufacturer¿certified or authorized service/parts distributors, and that all parts be original or manufacturer¿approved, with vendor¿provided certifications, quality assurance testing/inspections, warranties, and a minimum 12¿month guarantee against defects.
