The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is conducting a second sources sought notice for a Direct Conversion with Cost Comparison Study related to clerical support services at various NRCS offices in Nebraska. These services are currently provided by government personnel, and the study aims to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of contracting these services versus continuing in-house performance. This is an information-gathering step only and not a solicitation; no contract will be awarded at this stage, and the government may choose not to contract out if in-house costs are lower. Interested parties are invited to express their interest by April 4, 2003, via email to a designated contact, providing detailed company information including size, business classification, and certification status under various small business categories. Respondents must use the NAICS code 561110, Office Administrative Services, and provide specific details about their business size and any relevant small or disadvantaged business certifications, such as small, veteran-owned, Hubzone, or woman-owned classifications. The government emphasizes that only email responses will be accepted at this stage, and no formal solicitation is currently available. The solicitation for this requirement is expected to be released around April 21, 2003, and will be accessible through the Federal Business Opportunities website at that time.
