The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base plans to enter into a sole-source lease contract for one R-11 Aircraft Refueler to address a critical shortage of fueling vehicles. The lease will last six months and requires the refueler to have a minimum fuel capacity of 6,000 gallons, a refueling pump able to deliver at least 600 gallons per minute, and space for a crew of at least two. The contractor must provide delivery and ongoing maintenance support. This action is intended for ATAP, Inc., the sole source currently capable of delivering an immediately available, AFPET-certified R-11 Refueler that Tyndall AFB personnel are already trained to operate, thereby ensuring no mission delays. This notice serves only to inform industry of the intent to sole source and does not constitute a request for proposals, quotes, or bids, which will not be accepted. Although a competitive solicitation will not be issued, interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit a capability statement by June 20, 2026, for consideration in potential future procurements. The Government retains full discretion on whether to open competition for subsequent contracts based on any information received. The contracting points of contact are SSgt Sean Maguire and SrA Samuel Pendleton from the 325th Contracting Squadron.
