AI Contract Overview
The contract specifies the procurement of 12 electromagnetic relays, identified by NSN 5945-00-089-1252 and part number MS25329-A1, under solicitation SPE7M1-26-U-4519, with an estimated delivery timeframe of 276 days and FOB Origin terms. The item is subject to stringent technical specifications including MIL-PRF-6106R(1) SUP 1A and must comply with DLA’s Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, referenced via RA001, as well as MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and MIL-STD-129 for marking, including special marking code ZZ and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 for lead finish identification on individual unit packs. Mercury and mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in the product, its packaging, preservation, or marking, except for specific authorized uses outlined by NAVSEA, and portable devices with mercury must include shockproof design and a secondary containment barrier in accordance with NAVSEA 5100-003D. The use of Class I ozone-depleting substances is prohibited unless explicitly approved in writing by the Contracting Officer, and this prohibition supersedes all other specification requirements without compromising performance standards. The product is designated as a critical application item and is sourced exclusively from qualified manufacturers listed on the Qualified Products List or Qualified Manufacturers List. The contract is structured as a Simplified Indefinite-Delivery Contract under FAR 52.216-18, with a maximum value cap of $350,000, though the estimated quantity of 12 units is non-binding and may not be purchased. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination point, and payment is mandated through WAWF using appropriate document types such as the Invoice and Receiving Report. Packaging must adhere to DLA’s RP001 requirements with preservation method 31 (clean/dry), unit container D3, and intermediate container DO. All contractors must comply with FAR clauses including 52.240-93 for safeguarding information systems, 52.222-50 for combating trafficking in persons, 52.223-23 for sustainable products, and 52.223-3 for hazardous material identification, each applied with deviation 2026-000
