IF YOU NEED HELP REGISTERING, please call BidNet Direct's Support Department at 800-835-4603.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a contract for Bus Depot Washdown and Degreasing Services for the Montgomery County Ride-On depot parking lots, in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and price proposal requirements set forth herein.BackgroundThe Montgomery County Department of Transportation operates and maintains the Ride On bus fleet at three (3) depots throughout the County. Each depot includes a large bus lot for storing and servicing vehicles, and a parking lot for employee parking while they are at work. The Silver Spring Depot (8710 Brookeville Road, Silver Spring) has an estimated lot size of 91,000 square feet; the Gaithersburg Depot (16700 Crabbs Branch Way, Gaithersburg) has approximately 109,000 squarefeet; and the Nicholson Court Depot (4953 Nicholson Court, Kensington) contains about 59,000 square feet.To ensure proper maintenance and environmental compliance, each bus lot and employee parking lot requires routine cleaning. Service includes washdowns and spot-degreasing power washing to remove accumulated debris, oil and grease left by the vehicles. In addition, each facility requires a comprehensive washdown with full decreasing.
