Justification: Induction of this project is required due to the recent Notice of Violation Order (NOVO) for the WWTP. Several deficiencies were identified that need to corrective action which involves repairs. The work will be divided into two phases, based on the preliminary tank inspection. The project scope for this first phase will be to repair aeration tanks #1 through #6, which involves: draining each tank for concrete inspection and concrete defect mapping; coring tanks in select locations to determine concrete repairs; removing existing aeration piping and diffusers; removing all loose/bad concrete; removing/treating rust for exposed rebar; repairing concrete with polymer concrete to match existing surfaces; replacing existing aeration valving/piping with new aeration valving/piping and installing new diffusers; and replacing railings and walkways with new railings and walkways.
