Salt Lake City Department of Airports Automated Teller and Currency Exchange Machine Services

The Salt Lake City Department of Airports is soliciting proposals for a qualified firm to install, operate, and maintain automated teller machines and currency exchange services at the Salt Lake City International Airport. The scope of work includes providing 24/7 services at the Gateway, Main Terminal, and Concourses A and B, utilizing new, vandalism-resistant equipment that complies with ADA standards and TSA regulations. The contract features a base term of approximately five years starting September 1, 2027, with the possibility of two optional one-year extensions. Eligible respondents must possess at least two years of recent experience operating similar services at a comparable airport, be licensed to do business in Utah, and maintain good standing with the City. The selection process is based on a weighted evaluation of the best overall proposal, with mandatory requirements regarding experience and licensing. Financial obligations include a Minimum Annual Guarantee and a percentage fee, with payments due monthly. Additionally, the selected operator must provide a performance and payment bond or letter of credit equal to the first year's Minimum Annual Guarantee and adhere to strict service and operational standards, with various liquidated damages specified for non-compliance.
