The Department of Homeland Security, through the United States Coast Guard's Operational Logistics Command in Norfolk, Virginia, had issued a combined synopsis solicitation for Full Food Services at USCG Sector Corpus Christi, Texas. This procurement was intended to contract a vendor to provide comprehensive food services, including meal preparation, dining facility management, cleaning, cashier duties, quality control, and minor maintenance of food service equipment. The service was to cover breakfast and lunch for active and reserve personnel, civilian employees, and paid guests, with additional provisions for boxed meals for duty personnel and special event catering. The solicitation adhered to Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines and included a site visit option scheduled for December 2025, with strict deadlines for RSVP and submission of written questions. However, the solicitation was subsequently amended multiple times, including extensions of the due date and updates to the Statement of Work and evaluation criteria. The final amendment, Amendment #4, officially cancelled the solicitation due to funding restrictions, terminating the procurement process for the food services contract at USCG Sector Corpus Christi. Key contacts for the solicitation included two contract specialists, and the entire procurement process was managed under NAICS code 722310 related to food services.
