The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SON-62451-R3, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602 to Sonoma County Water Agency. The project is limited to routine maintenance activities, which are defined as activities that are scheduled and implemented as necessary to maintain the capacity of streams, lakes, and on-stream reservoirs for flood risk reduction. In summary these activities include: 1) Sediment management in engineered stream channels, engineered structures such as culverts and diversion facilities, lakes, and on-stream reservoirs. Sediment management will not occur in modified stream channels (natural channels that have been modified to improve flood conveyance but not engineered or constructed to specific design criteria) or natural stream channels; 2) Vegetation management in engineered, modified, and natural stream channels, engineered structures, lakes, and on-stream reservoirs, with work in natural and modified stream channels limited to targeted vegetation and vegetative debris removal to remove
