Technical Support for Distributed Synthetic Operations

The Department of National Defence is seeking to procure one Level 3 Technology Architect specializing in modelling and simulation technologies and one Level 3 Operations Support Specialist focused on Distributed Synthetic Operations Centre systems to support the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Exercise and Simulation branch at the Aerospace Warfare Centre located at Shirley’s Bay Campus in Ottawa, Ontario. The contractors will provide on-site technical support to advance the RCAF Modelling & Simulation Enterprise through the operation, sustainment, and enhancement of the Defence Secure Simulation and Training Node Information System. All work must be performed in person at the designated location within the National Capital Region, and the contract is anticipated to commence on May 19, 2026, with a duration of one year. Only pre-qualified Tier 1 suppliers under the Task-Based Informatics Professional Services Supply Arrangement who hold qualifications under the I.11 and B.13 service categories are eligible to respond. Both personnel must possess a minimum Secret security clearance in accordance with Common PS SRCL #20, and proposals must be submitted via email to the contracting officer by the deadline of May 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM EDT.
