Travel Alberta is seeking to pre-qualify consultants with demonstrated expertise in creative content development, production support, and media guiding to support its evolving communication and promotional needs. Proposers may submit qualifications for one or more service areas based on their specific capabilities, and submissions should focus on areas where they can best showcase experience and competency rather than attempting to cover all possible disciplines. Those selected for the pre-qualified list will be required to sign a Master Services Agreement before being eligible to receive work, and all contractors must comply with Travel Alberta’s Media Guide Code of Conduct and Vendor and Partner Code of Conduct. While pre-qualification does not guarantee any volume of work, successful applicants may be called upon on an as-needed basis over a three-year term, with the option to renew for an additional three years. Each engagement will be governed by a formal Service Agreement and triggered by a Project Brief that defines the scope, deliverables, and terms of the specific assignment. Travel Alberta reserves the right to engage vendors outside the pre-qualified list if necessary and may conduct interim intake periods during the contract term to add additional qualified providers. All contracts may be terminated with 30 days’ notice, and no further opportunities to join the pre-qualified list will be publicly available until the contract period ends or it is renewed.

The purpose of this Pre-Qualification Request is to qualify consultants experienced in the service areas stated on the attached PQR document. Individuals and organizations who have satisfied the established requirements for a resource role will be evaluated and those who Travel Alberta believe to be most qualified may be placed on the prequalified list (pending contracting). Recognizing the breadth of services included in this opportunity, proponents may choose to submit their qualifications for one or more relevant areas, based on their expertise. Submissions do not need to address all components and should focus on those areas where the proponent can demonstrate strong capability and experience. Successfully pre-qualified Vendors will be required to enter into a Master Services Agreement in advance of anticipated work with Travel Alberta. In addition, all Contractors are required to adhere to the Media Guide Code of Conduct and the Vendor and Partner Code of Conduct (both attached in the Bonfire system). Pre-Qualified contractors may be eligible to fulfill Project Brief / Statement of Work (SOW) requests from the effective date of the Master Services Agreement for a term of 3 years with the option to renew for up to an additional 3 years. Pre-Qualified Contractors selected as a result of this PQR process are not guaranteed any specified volume of work and requests would be on an “as required basis”. Travel Alberta reserves the right to contract additional third-party vendors outside of this PQR agreement should they determine additional requirements are needed. Any contracts may also be terminated with 30 days notice to the Contractor. As services are required, the contractor will be required to sign a Service Agreement (SA) outlining the types of services and overall scope and timeline to govern the work they will delivery. Pre-Qualified Contractors selected for a specific project(s) will receive a Project Brief which will fully outline the specific requested services to be provided and the specific terms and conditions of the retainer by Travel Alberta on an as needed basis. Travel Alberta may open an “interim intake” during the 3-year term of this PQR contract. Additional Contractors may submit during those specified intake periods and be placed on the PQR list at that time. There will be no other publicly posted opportunities to be placed on the PQR list until the termination date of the contract and renewals.
