Full Description
The U.S. Embassy Helsinki is looking to enter into a contractual agreement in a fixed price contract to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Embassy Helsinki, Finland. The properties are located in Kaivopuisto, Toolo and Tattariharju in Helsinki, Finland. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces. This contract will be for a one-year period.
The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel that are necessary to accomplish the work in this contract, including required equipment and supplies to be used by the contractor personnel performing the necessary tasks. Contractor employees shall be on site only for contractual duties and not for other business purposes.
We will hold a pre-bid meeting on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Helsinki time. If you are interested in attending this meeting, please provide your name, company name, email address and telephone number no later than noon Helsinki time on May 11, 2026 by email to helsinkiprocurement@state.gov. Contractors who sign up for the pre-bid meeting will be provided the exact locations closer to this date. Quotes and possible questions must be submitted to helsinkiprocurement@state.gov by Wednesday May 25, 2026, at noon Helsinki time. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted.
Offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission may deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsible and no further consideration will be given.
