UID and Asset Marking Services

The contract requires the application of Unique Item Identification (UID) markings on lighting fixtures and their packaging in strict accordance with MIL-STD-130 standards, ensuring each item is uniquely identifiable through Data Matrix barcodes formatted as Format 05 and compliant with ISO/IEC 15434 for data structure and encoding. The markings must be durable, legible, and permanently affixed to both the fixtures and their shipping containers to support full lifecycle tracking. All identification data must be accurately captured and synchronously reported through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system to ensure seamless integration with Department of Defense asset management and logistics databases. The work is to be performed at the designated place of performance in Sasebo, with a response deadline of August 24, 2026, under a subcontract structure governed by NAICS code 811212 and managed by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka under the Department of Defense.
