The District proposes improvements to the Whittier High School athletic field areas . Improvements would include the replacement of existing natural turf fields with synthetic turf fields for the football, baseball and softball fields, and multi-purpose outfields (soccer); track re-surfacing; ancillary field improvements; installation of supporting equipment (e.g., scoreboards); new concrete paving and fencing at entry areas; and underground storm drain improvements. Twelve light poles would be installed to light the fields.
