X--VENUE RENTAL FOR SPIRIT OF AMERICA EVENT

The US Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall requires the rental of a venue in Washington, DC to support the 2011 Spirit of America Event for the US Army Military District of Washington. The contracting office intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to the Verizon Center, located at 601 F Street NW, Washington, DC. This procurement is being conducted as a non-competitive sole source under FAR 6.302-1, with a justification for other than full and open competition already prepared. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price, classified under FSC Code X199, SIC Code 7922, and NAICS Code 711310.
