The Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region, is seeking a contractor to complete the construction of the Cottonwood Substation, Stage 02, Phase 01 in Shasta County, California. The scope of work involves providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to build key infrastructure components including a pre-fabricated control building foundation, site development for yard access, installation of an automatic 20-foot rolling gate with associated accessibility equipment, environmental enclosure, control cables, keypads, and a gate motor operator. Additional work includes constructing station service arrangements with foundations for an AC distribution panel, automatic transfer switch, fusible safety disconnect switches, precast pull boxes, and concrete encased duct banks. The project is estimated to cost between $500,000 and $1,000,000 and must be completed within 180 days from the Notice to Proceed.
