The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA, Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project.
The Stegall Substation Stage 07 Phase 01 Construction Project enhances WAPA’s ability to provide reliable/cost-efficient electrical power by replacing end-of-life control building, disconnect switches, and oil circuit breakers. New gas circuit breakers are on site and ready for installation by the contractor. WAPA benefits from these replacements by resolving deteriorating and potentially dangerous equipment conditions while setting up the substation for future Phase 02 conversion to breaker and a half bus configuration.
