YPAC - Professional Operating & Management Services For The Yucaipa Performing Art Center

The City of Yucaipa is seeking an experienced firm to provide professional operating, management, activation, and potential adaptive reuse services for the Yucaipa Performing Arts Center (YPAC). Located in the Historic Uptown District, the YPAC is an 18,850-square-foot multi-purpose facility featuring a 2,000-square-foot outdoor stage and an indoor flexible space with retractable seating for approximately 287 people. The selected operator will be responsible for managing, staffing, promoting, and maintaining the facility with the primary goals of achieving General Fund neutrality, maximizing revenue for the City, and contributing to the economic vitality of the surrounding district. Proposals are due by November 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and must be submitted as physical copies, as electronic or faxed submissions are prohibited. The City will evaluate responsive proposals based on a 100-point weighted criteria system, focusing on the proposer's ability to eliminate operating subsidies and provide a viable financial path to neutrality. The anticipated contract start date is as soon as possible, but no later than February 1, 2027. Proposers must define their own initial term and renewal options and are required to provide comprehensive insurance coverage and obtain all necessary local, state, and federal permits at their own expense. Final selection authority rests with the Yucaipa City Council.
