Combined Synopsis-Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services Effective Date: 04/18/2025 Revision: 02 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO:
1. Schedule site visit 14, May 2026 at 10:00 AM Togus VA Medical Center 1 VA Center Augusta, ME 04330 Building B200E POC: Abigail Campbell 2.Respond to question received: I am writing to request clarification regarding the compressor replacement for AHU 21 Chiller. Specifically, we would like to confirm whether the compressor can be isolated during the replacement process, or if the addition of new refrigerant will be required. Isolating the compressor during replacement is not possible. The refrigerant from the entire circuit must be recovered and, because of the nature of the failure, cannot be reused. Additionally, during installation, the oil equalizer line will need to be drained, and fresh oil should be added to the circuit to ensure proper system functionality
3. Extend the submission due date
Submission of your response shall be received not later than Tuesday, 19 May 2026 by 5:00 PM EST.
Late submissions shall be treated in accordance with the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(f).
