Electronic SEALED BIDS will be received by Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on behalf of, but not exclusive to, the following Bucks County Consortium members: the Townships of Bristol, Buckingham, Doylestown, East Rockhill, Falls, Haycock, Lower Makefield, Lower Southampton, Middletown, Milford, New Britain, Newtown, Northampton, Richland, Solebury, Springfield, Tinicum, Upper Makefield, Upper Southampton, Warminster, Warrington, and Warwick; the Boroughs of Doylestown and Langhorne Manor; and the Bristol Township Sewer WWTP, Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority, Chalfont New-Britain Township Joint Sewer Authority, Croyden Fire Company, Edgely Fire Company, Newportville Fire Company, Third District Fire Company, Warminster Municipal Authority (individually hereinafter referred to as “Agency” or collectively as “Agencies”) for the purchase of the following:
• approximately 673,000 gallons of Unleaded Regular Gasoline • approximately 116,000 gallons of Unleaded Premium Gasoline • approximately 68,700 gallons of #2 Heating Oil/Diesel Fuel • approximately 368,500 gallons of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel • approximately 30,200 gallons of Off-Road Low Sulfur Diesel • approximately 40,673 gallons of Propane
Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid System until 10:00 AM, Friday, June 12, 2026, when they will be publicly opened and read at the Lower Makefield Township Administration Building, 1100 Edgewood Road, Yardley PA 19067. All documents and solicitation details are available on the PennBid Website at www.PennBid.net
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Lower Makefield Township. The successful bidder must furnish each Agency with a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the amount of their individual contract within twenty (20) days after the contract is awarded.
