2469 Alpine Bank Stabilization Project (Notification of Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-SMO- 52084-R3).

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Bay Delta Region, has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SMO-52084-R3 with Jon Jedlicka pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code. Located at 2469 Alpine Road in Menlo Park, San Mateo County, the 2469 Alpine Bank Stabilization Project is designed to repair bank failure, improve stability, reduce erosion, and protect a residence. The project is classified as a forecast under NAICS code 237990 and is exempt under California Code of Regulations title 14, sections 15301 and 15304, as it involves minor alterations and repairs to existing private structures with negligible expansion. The scope of work involves the construction of a five-tiered concrete gravity wall covering approximately 350 square feet of the bank. Additionally, 225 square feet between the top of the bank and the wall will be regraded and revegetated with native riparian plant species. The bottom two tiers of the gravity wall, totaling 100 square feet, will be covered with native soils, secured with coir rolls, and planted with native riparian vegetation. The project specifically prohibits the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
