70--INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Contract with World Wide Technologies, Inc. for a Maintenance Renewal of Computer Profile Migrator Maintenance of 2,000 licenses.

The Missouri National Guard plans to sole source a contract renewal with World Wide Technologies, Inc. for the maintenance of 2,000 licenses of the Computer Profile Migrator software. This maintenance enables the Guard’s IT division to manage migrations from Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 to newer platforms such as Windows 7 or Windows 8. The software, developed specifically for the Missouri National Guard, supports critical IT functions including software upgrades, new hardware deployment, virus and malware removal, as well as addressing hardware and operating system break-fix issues. It also aids in managing reductions in IT staff and facilitates remote refreshes and system upgrades. World Wide Technologies, as the sole provider, holds proprietary rights to this technology and previously supplied the initial maintenance contract for these 2,000 licenses. The contract reflects the need for continued support of the software’s maintenance to ensure smooth IT operations within the Guard.
