Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace an existing 50-foot Class 4 wood pole with a new 55-foot Class 2 wood pole and concrete repair along State Route 164 (SR-164), at postmile (PM) 4.29, Rosemead Blvd, in the City of South El Monte, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 48 inches, and a maximum length of 48 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
