Annual Guardrail (FY 26-27)

Yavapai County is soliciting bids for the Annual Guardrail (FY 26-27) project, identified as Project #2636255 and Solicitation #27-PW-29. The scope of work involves the removal and installation of guardrail systems at three specific locations: Iron Springs Road in Prescott, which requires the removal of 775 linear feet of G4 guardrail and installation of 613 linear feet of Midwest Guardrail System with four new end treatments; and Carpenter Lane in Cottonwood, which requires the installation of 125 linear feet of Midwest Guardrail System and 75 linear feet of shop-curved W-beam with two new end treatments. The engineer's estimate for the work is $148,915.00. All work must adhere to ADOT Standard Specifications and MAG Specifications, including strict requirements for dust control and traffic management via certified police personnel if necessary. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement Portal by October 29, 2026, and must include a bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the bid amount within ten calendar days of the award. The project is expected to proceed with a notice to proceed on November 30, 2026, with a completion deadline of January 14, 2027, and a maximum work period of 26 working days. Payment terms are net 45 days, and all work is subject to a two-year guarantee for workmanship and materials following final acceptance by the County.
