Full Description

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has amended Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-VEN-60353-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Thousand Oaks as represented by Patrick McCulloch. The Project is limited to regular maintenance activities and inspection activities along the wastewater interceptor Unit W and Y. These activities will mainly consist of vegetation trimming, access road maintenance, culvert/crossing maintenance, and the implementation of four temporary crossings but several unique maintenance activities will occur at specific facilities. There are a total of 20 utility facilities across seven distinct access road segments. Within the facility are access roads, pedestrian access paths, and utility facilities (pipeline cleanout access points, valves, and manholes). The Streambed Alteration Agreement was amended to include differing temporary water crossing methods. These methods involve the use of steel plates on top of I-beams across the entirety of the stream as a preferred method.
