WHO: NMC EAD UNIT PH - Waterfront Operation/ Ordnance Field Office WHAT: Objective: Project proposed to replace existing Transite Roof, replace 24 windows and re-paint bldg. Project proposed to replace the roofs of buildings Wesloc-1 . Replacement of roofs includes and isn’t limited to the soffits, fascia, flashings, on the aforementioned building. Design team to field verify by conducting an on-site inspection of the building roofs to identify conditions of the existing roofing system and related roofing components. Design shall identify the final scope based on their experience with roofing projects similar in size and scope to this project and observations made at the site visit. Roofing materials - Investigate the existing condition of the roof deck material, expansion joints, flashings, caulking, and sealants, water repellents, etc. Identify areas lacking positive drainage. Ensure that the drains are located properly and are sufficient in number and size to drain all accumulated water from the surface of the roof in accordance with code. Roof gutters and leaders. Ensure that the gutters and leaders are sufficient in size to drain all accumulated water from the surface of the roof in accordance with code. Design team to field verify the exact amount of work necessary on the building. Roofs may show signs of leaking, cracking. Work to include debris removal, and roofing and gutter removal and replacement as necessary. Use all termite resistant materials for repairs. Painting: Project also proposed to repaint existing exterior of buildings of Wesloc-1 Exterior paint shows signs of severe peeling and cracking. Painting shall include but not be limited to exterior conduits, boxes, cabinets, piping, miscellaneous wiring, exterior exposed roof joists, roof eaves, roof fascia's, door frames, doors, and ...
