This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation number 127EAX26Q0042 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for installation of approximately 1,500 lineal feet of single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (6 strand pairs running to each building; 12 stand pairs total) providing for an outside plant (OSP) fiber optic backbone between three (3) buildings located on the project site. Optional work includes the installation of
dedicated 15-amp electrical circuits, each with a quadplex 20-amp 120-v receptacle installed near the new interior NEMA enclosures, and the testing of existing fiber optic cable. The existing fiber optic cable (SM; 24 strands) shall be tested to industry standards.


This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business standard is $45M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
