The Coast Guard's Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is announcing a best value negotiated procurement for accomplishing the FY13 Inland River emergency Subsystem Sustainment (IRESS) Drydocking for USCGC GASCONADE (WLR 75401) and barge. This procurement will be conducted as a total small business set-aside using FAR Part 12 commercial procedures in conjunction with elements from Part 15. The geographical restriction for this requirement is 400 nautical miles from the vessel's winter homeport St. Louis, MO and downstream from the Melvin Price Lock and Dam. This means the navigable portions of the Mississippi River & its tributaries above mile marker 0 of the Lower Mississippi River. Navigable tributaries of the Mississippi River include only the waterways within the area of jurisdiction of Coast Guard aids to navigation facilities as described in Light List Volume V (COMDTINST M16502.5), and the Tennessee-Timbigbee Waterway to the mouth of the Mobile River. The work shall be performed at the contractor's facility. Period of Performance will be 01/09/13 - 04/19/12. The requirement will result in award of a single firm fixed- price ship repair contract.
