AI Contract Overview
The National Institutes of Health intends to award a non-competitive contract for chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing laboratory services to Active Motif. This procurement, identified by synopsis number 75N98026Q01153 and NAICS code 811210, supports research by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases regarding the EXOSC10 protein's role in genome stability during DNA damage repair. The project involves genetic material binding analysis in mouse stem cells, utilizing specific antibody qualification and control cell lines to ensure reliable experimental results. The acquisition is conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of 350,000 dollars. While the government intends to negotiate with a single source, interested parties may submit capability statements, technical proposals, and cost-price proposals to the contracting officer by September 18, 2026. All respondents must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management.

GENERAL INFORMATION
- Title: Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing laboratory services for genetic material binding analysis in mouse stem cells
- Background Information: The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases is conducting research to better understand how the EXOSC10 protein contributes to genome stability during the repair of deoxyribonucleic acid damage. To support this research, the laboratory developed a mouse embryonic stem cell line in which the EXOSC10 protein contains a three-times FLAG tag, allowing the protein to be detected and enriched using an anti-FLAG antibody. Because the genome-wide binding pattern of EXOSC10 has not been fully characterized, antibody qualification is required before conducting chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing. Matched control cell lines expressing green fluorescent protein with the same three-times FLAG tag will be used to distinguish specific EXOSC10 binding from background signal and ensure reliable experimental results..
