CLDJ 115 (STUDY) Improve Base Notification System Coverage EMER (Customer Funded)

CURRENT SITUATION: Following recent events in the AOR, the need for functioning giant voice systems has increased. After a site visit was conducted with EOM, potential installation points for giant voice speaker systems were put forward: (1) Giant voice system located at the western end of camp, on the soon-to-be-constructed security tower, facing East. (2) Giant voices on the security tower to the east of Freedom Ramp, also utilized as an ATC tower, facing East and West. (2) Giant voices on the security tower to the north of the fuel farm, facing East and West. (1) Giant voice on the NE corner of building 770, facing NE towards Enduring apron. (2) Giant voices on the security tower on the East side of Enduring apron, facing East and West. (1) Giant voice to the north of CALA, on the soon-to-be-constructed security tower, facing South towards the apron. (1) Giant voice on the SE security tower of Romeo Loop of CALA, facing towards the ASP. REQUIREMENT: Install giant voice systems and LRADs at locations identified. EOC is presently in possession of 4 Genasys LRAD systems on hand, plus two other of different brand. Security has given permission for use of their security towers for giant voice systems. please get with the Fire Protection Engineer as well MISSION IMPACT: Improved giant voice coverage.
