Clifton Court Forebay Dam Interior Liner Repairs

The California Department of Water Resources will undertake repairs to damaged liner sections at the Clifton Court Forebay Dam between Station 238+50 and 250+00, where underlying embankment material has been exposed due to undermining. The work involves sawcutting and removing degraded cement liner blocks and adjacent compromised soil, followed by compaction of the exposed embankment to restore stability. To reinforce the structure, a filter rock layer will be installed followed by riprap placed along the water toe of the embankment to prevent further erosion and provide structural support.
