The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), acting on behalf of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), intends to award a sole source purchase order to the IMPLAN Group LLC for the acquisition of the 2012 IMPLAN data set along with the corresponding software licenses. This purchase, valued at approximately $60,462, will include a U.S. National Package license for five users and additional licenses for five users each in six states: Alaska, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. IMPLAN is a proprietary input-output economic modeling software developed by the U.S. Forest Service and the University of Minnesota, which BOEM will utilize to update economic multipliers in its Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Economic Impact Model, MAG-PLAN. The procurement is being conducted as a sole source action under FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) because IMPLAN Group LLC is the only authorized provider of this specific data and software, and no alternative sources exist that can supply equivalent data compatible with the MAG-PLAN system without significant modifications. V--Vessel Atlantic Ops Physical Inspections Draft RFP
Solicitation # DOIEFBO260006
The Department of the Interior and the Marine Minerals Administration are conducting market research via a Draft RFP for a Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide offshore vessel services for physical inspections of renewable energy facilities on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf. The scope of work covers a geographic range from Virginia Beach, Virginia, to Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
