Dock Retrofit at Berth G242 – Harbor Development Permit No. 26-022

The contract entails the retrofit of a damaged dock at Berth G242 in Long Beach, California, involving the installation of seven embedded piles, each approximately 50 feet long and 18 inches in diameter, to reinforce the structure’s foundation. A new floating platform measuring 40 feet by 82 feet will be constructed, featuring three designated mooring slots to accommodate vessel docking operations. To support construction activities, two temporary trailers will be deployed—one measuring 60 feet by 12 feet and the other 60 feet by 60 feet, both approximately 10 feet in height—along with their associated utility connections. The site will also be secured with temporary fencing up to 12 feet in height running along the perimeter. The project is being managed by the Port of Long Beach under Harbor Development Permit No. 26-022, with the work expected to take place in the port’s operational area in Long Beach, California.
