Drone light show and digital mapping

The U.S. Embassy in Rabat, Department of State, is procuring specialized event production services for the National Day celebration on June 9, 2026, commemorating the 250th anniversary of U.S.-Moroccan friendship. The scope of work involves the execution of a 700-drone light show and architectural projection mapping at the Chellah UNESCO World Heritage site. Key deliverables include a 12 to 14-minute drone choreography featuring 8 to 10 3D figures and a custom soundtrack, as well as a continuous three-hour architectural mapping display on the Chellah facade utilizing four KVANT 18K projectors. The contractor is responsible for all technical operations and the acquisition of necessary flight authorizations from Moroccan civil and military authorities. This is a sole-source acquisition under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) awarded to Drone Cast Company SARL for an estimated value of DH 606,600, including 20% VAT. The award is based on the vendor's unique technical capabilities, prior successful performance at the sensitive archaeological site, and their proven ability to secure complex regulatory permits. Performance will take place entirely at the Chellah site in Rabat, Morocco, with the U.S. Government serving as the responsible party for inspection and acceptance.
