Emerson Side Channel and Riparian Restoration Planning

The Emerson Side Channel and Riparian Restoration Planning project aims to advance the conservation of Sacramento River Winter-run Chinook Salmon and other threatened salmonid species by completing 90 percent of the design work for an off-channel rearing habitat, alongside ensuring full environmental compliance and securing necessary permits. Pre-implementation monitoring will also be conducted to establish baseline ecological conditions and inform effective habitat restoration strategies.
