MSR 24016086 REQUIREMENT: Enclose building 300, hazardous waste storage area, to ensure stored waste is protected from the elements and that personnel do not have to work in dangerous site conditions such as wet/icy floors. Work shall include: 1. Insulate and fireproof all ceiling surfaces to a minimum R-28 insulating value, with mechanical ceiling supports with mesh (keeping insulation from falling off ceiling), and with a white light-reflective finish. 2. Provide painted steel studs and metal siding in front of building. 3. Provide motorized, explosion-proof, industrial grade roll-up doors for each of the four (4) bays. 4. Provide and install unit heater support hangers. 5. Provide and install two (2) HAZLOC explosion proof unit heaters to include: Each with electric heat rated at 25,575 BTUH each 1/4 HP Fan Motors Built-in bi-metal thermostat Built-ins disconnect 6. Provide and install one (1) wall mounted explosion proof exhaust fan located on center of building back wall. 7. Provide and install two (2) walls mounted outside fresh air intake louvers, one on each end of the building for cross circulation. 8. Provide and install two (2) outside air intake control dampers on the intake louvers to include explosion proof damper control actuators. 9. Provide Electrical Upgrades to include: Install rigid conduit, explosion proof fittings, j-boxes and flexes as needed for four (quantity 4) roll-up doors with explosion proof motors and heaters. Upgrade existing 480/120-203 3ph transformer with 30kw transformer (upgrade is required for unit heaters and roll-up doors) Install new 50-amp 480v disconnect for transformer feed. Install new main breaker in existing panel for panel upgrade. Run new wire, conduit from transformer to panel. 10. Provide and install ¼” ...
