EVSE Project at CAL TRANS District 10 - Tracy Maintenance Facility

The project at the CAL TRANS District 10 Tracy Maintenance Facility involves the installation of electrical infrastructure to support future Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment for fleet operations, though the actual charging stations themselves are not included in this scope. The work will provide a complete power delivery system using existing on-site electrical sources, including buried conduits, fixed bollards, wheel stops, and all associated wiring to support one single port and two dual port charging stations. Five designated parking stalls will be restriped and stenciled with clear signage to identify them as reserved for electric vehicles, ensuring proper usage and visibility. All construction activities will include pavement saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, and full restoration of the lot surface to its original condition. The project is being executed in strict compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, with proper handling and disposal of all waste materials generated during construction. Power will be drawn from an existing electrical supply already available at the site, eliminating the need for new utility connections. The work is managed by Caltrans District 3 based in Marysville/Sacramento, and performance will take place entirely at the Tracy facility with a ZIP code of 95377.
