Solicitation # RFP-27001003
The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is seeking a Hawaii-based contractor to manage and implement the Teaching Artist Institute, a professional development program for teaching artists in Hawaii. The project focuses on the intersection of arts education and health and is designed to help artists on the SFCA Artistic Teaching Partner Roster meet mandatory annual professional development hours, while also remaining open to non-roster artists. The selected contractor will be responsible for all coordination, including organizing the institute, contracting interactive speakers and workshops, and managing travel, lodging, and food logistics. The scope of work requires the execution of either a single convening for over 60 artists lasting two to three days or three separate regional convenings across Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Island. This firm-fixed-price contract has a maximum value of 50,000 dollars, though contractors may seek additional matching funds. The initial period of performance is eight months, starting from the notice to proceed, with the possibility of up to six additional 12-month extensions. To qualify, the contractor must be a state-wide arts organization incorporated in Hawaii with extensive experience in professional development for arts educators and a specific focus on arts and health. Proposals are evaluated on a 100-point scale considering price, staff experience, and technical approach. Solicitation # HQ003426QE242
Washington Headquarters Services is soliciting a Firm Fixed Price, no-cost contract under NAICS 561920 to provide non-personal support services for the planning, execution, and reporting of the annual Defense Manufacturing Focused Conference (DMFC) and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage (DMSMS) Symposium. The contract spans a five-year period of performance from November 5, 2026, to November 4, 2031. EVENT ATTENDANCE:

This event is first-come-first-serve and registration will be closed once the maximum capacity of registrants is reached.  Please note, registered attendees/visitors will be limited to no more than two (2) employees per business.  There is no cost to attend this event.  PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS MANDATORY.  Individuals who arrive without having registered will NOT be permitted access to the facility.  Even if a vendor already has an FAA-Approved Technical Center access badge, he must still register for this event, per the instructions below.

Registration is required for all participants of the event, regardless of participation in matchmaking. For Matchmaking, registration does not guarantee a one-on-one meeting with a Program Organization but is required for a meeting to be scheduled. Program Organizations will be matched with firms based upon their current or future needs as well as provided company capability information. Please note, while registered firms may not receive a matched one-on-one meeting, they still can attend the opening remarks, Program Briefings, general networking and/or Breakout Sessions.

ACCESS TO FACILITY:

Upon arrival, event attendees must stop at the National Aerospace Research & Technology Park (NARTP) to obtain a visitor badge from security, park their car, and load a bus for transportation to drop off at the WJHTC Parking Lot.  Please be sure to bring a photo ID to be processed.  If using a driver’s license as your photo ID, it must be a Real ID.  A valid Passport or other photo government-issued ID is also acceptable.  Due to parking space limitations at the NARTP, carpooling is highly encouraged.

BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT - FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ADVANCEMENT OF AVIATION RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGIES
Solicitation # BAA-693KA8-26-RCSO
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued Broad Agency Announcement BAA-693KA8-26-RCSO to solicit innovative research, commercial technologies, and prototype projects aimed at advancing National Airspace System (NAS) capabilities. This competitive solicitation is designed to engage traditional and nontraditional government contractors, as well as nonprofit research institutions, to improve NAS-related platforms, systems, components, and materials. The BAA remains active for five years and utilizes Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) authorized under the FAA Reauthorization Act of 1996, meaning the resulting agreements are not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS). The acquisition process is structured in three phases: the submission of a Research or Solution Brief in response to specific Areas of Interest (AOIs) posted on SAM.gov, a potential Pitch session, and a final full written proposal via a Request for Proposal (RFP). Current research interests include convective weather, cloud ceiling and visibility, and icing weather diagnostic and forecasting. Proposals are evaluated based on relevance to the AOI, technical merit, company viability, innovation, and data rights, with rough order of magnitude pricing and notional schedules serving as pass/fail gates. The period of performance for projects is generally limited to 36 months, and all submissions must remain unclassified.
