The Department has been the lead in supporting Evidence Based Home Visiting (EBHV) programs that are designed to improve the overall health of families, increase school readiness and success, improve economic well-being, aid in child abuse and neglect prevention, and promote overall positive parenting. The Department’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports, is seeking to award funds to qualified Applicants for the implementation of Family Support Programs. These programs consist of community-based, high-quality EBHV services. It is the Department’s priority to maintain the presence of no less than one FS Program within each of the 67 counties in the Commonwealth.
