Fluids and Lubricants for Automobiles and Heavy Equipment

Mohave County is seeking bids through solicitation 2027-012-IFB to establish an annual requirements contract for the supply and delivery of fluids and lubricants for its automotive vehicles and heavy equipment. Managed by the Public Works Fleet Services and Equipment Maintenance Divisions, the contract operates on an as-needed basis to support a diverse fleet including manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Ford, General Motors, John Deere, Komatsu, and Kubota. Required products include various synthetic oils, gear lubes, greases, and diesel exhaust fluid, all of which must be manufacturer-approved, meet API standards, and be accompanied by Safety Data Sheets prior to delivery. Re-refined oil products are strictly prohibited. The successful contractor must deliver products to multiple locations, including fleet shops in Kingman, Mohave Valley, and Lake Havasu City, as well as roads yards in Golden Valley and Meadview. Deliveries are generally required within three business days of an order, with specific daily cutoff times for different locations. Products may be delivered in bulk, drums, gallons, quarts, pounds, or tubes. The contractor is responsible for providing non-deposit drums and pallets, picking up empty drums at least every four weeks, and managing the cleanup of any spills at their own expense. Award determinations will be based on complete compliance with specifications and the contractor's ability to meet delivery requirements, with the County reserving the right to award by individual line item, group, or total.
