Full Description

The purpose of the Project is to restore damaged drainage infrastructure and address seasonal erosion of channel bank slopes following rain events. The Discharger proposes to restore damaged drainage infrastructure to its pre-failure condition by repairing and replacing approximately 250 linear feet of the failed concrete channel to restore the original alignment, grade, and hydraulic and structural capacity. The slope stabilization component will remove existing grass, involve minor grading, install a new irrigation system, install geosynthetic matting, install new sod, and repair deteriorated grouted rip rap. No channel expansion or modification of drainage patterns is proposed. The total size of the entire area for all Project activities is 2.27 acres. Construction is expected to begin once all permits are approved and will continue for 5 months.
