NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE 36C24921Q0526 On behalf of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 is issuing this Intent to Sole Source. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm Fixed Price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to SCRIPTPRO. The prospective contractor shall provide full maintenance support of the robotic dispensing system. NCO 9 intends to award this requirement as a sole source purchase order under the provision of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to SCRIPTPRO. Based on market research, the required service can only be purchased from SCRIPTPRO. According to the current manufacturer, SCRIPTPRO Robotic Maintenance is a Proprietary Source service supported solely by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) SCRIPTPRO. Therefore, the sole source award to SCRIPTPRO is in the best interest of the government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811212 with the size standard of $30 million. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes. Any vendor who believes it can meet the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which will be considered only if received by September 7, 2021 at 8:00 am CT. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to contact@example.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
