Miscellaneous Groceries and Frozen Foods #4

Cortland County is soliciting proposals for the procurement of miscellaneous groceries and frozen foods, including meat, fish, frozen vegetables, and beverages, for a performance period from January 1, 2027, to March 31, 2027. The contract requires deliveries to be made between 7:00 AM and 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday, with a 48-hour window for the removal of empty delivery containers. Meat products must contain no added TVP or carrageenan, and pricing must incorporate government commodity allowances for the nutrition program. Insurance requirements include liability, disability, workers' compensation, and vehicle coverage, with the County of Cortland named as an additional insured. For contracts exceeding 25,000 dollars, a per project aggregate endorsement is required. All products must be produced in plants complying with the Federal Pure Food and Drug Act and applicable state and county health codes.
