The Olympic Authority has issued this RFQ to establish a pre-qualified pool of vendors capable of providing sports broadcast services for various events throughout the year. The primary goal is to identify vendors that meet minimum qualifications and are capable of delivering high-quality broadcast services, with the flexibility to be engaged for multiple projects based on specific event needs. Once pre-qualified, vendors will be invited to submit project-specific proposals, quotes, or mini-bids, with awards determined through competitive processes considering factors such as cost, technical capabilities, past performance, and availability. This approach ensures the Olympic Authority maintains a roster of reliable partners for its broadcasting requirements across the calendar year. The contract, with a duration of one year and an option to renew, covers broadcast services within Essex County, New York, with a total project value estimated between $500,000 and $2,000,000. The RFQ emphasizes the importance of securing responsive vendors capable of fulfilling all materials, labor, and service needs for each event. The process does not include MWBE, service-disabled veteran-owned, or disadvantaged business participation goals. Interested vendors are encouraged to respond by September 19, 2025, and should contact Andrew Vigne, the Event and Sport Finance Analyst, for further details. The procurement aims to ensure the Olympic Authority has access to qualified, cost-effective broadcast service providers for its sports events.
