NYS ORDA Sport Broadcast RFQ

The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a pre-qualified pool of vendors capable of providing comprehensive sports broadcast services for multiple events across the calendar year. This RFQ, released November 4, 2025, seeks to identify experienced and capable broadcast service providers to support Olympic and regional sporting events in New York, particularly within Essex, Ulster, and Warren counties. Vendors responding to this RFQ must demonstrate the ability to supply all necessary materials, labor, and technical expertise to meet the broadcast requirements specified in future project solicitations. The pool formed from this RFQ enables a streamlined, competitive process for subsequent project-based awards where vendors will submit proposals or quotes for specific events as needs arise. The term of the Master Agreement formed is one year with options for renewal, allowing flexibility to support the Authority’s event schedule. Vendors selected through this RFQ will enter into a Master Agreement incorporating the Olympic Authority's standard contract terms, insurance requirements, and procurement certifications, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The RFQ specifies that only vendors who meet minimum qualifications and timely submit complete proposals by the November 26, 2025 deadline will be eligible for consideration. Although no specific subcontracting or diversity participation goals are set, vendors must provide comprehensive submissions including key personnel details, pricing information, and certifications such as commercial liability insurance. Subsequent selection for individual projects will be made based on multiple criteria including cost competitiveness, technical capabilities, prior performance, and availability. Invoicing and administration will be managed through the Olympic Authority’s offices in Lake Placid, NY, with final acceptance of services occurring on-site at designated venues. This RFQ does not guarantee any minimum number of projects and functions as an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle to effectively secure high-quality broadcast partners on an as-needed basis.
