The City of Pasadena is seeking the services of qualified firm(s) to provide As-Needed services for Telecommunication Facilities Permit Processing and Construction Management and Inspection in the Public Right-of-Way. Applications with construction drawings shall be reviewed and processed for compliance with the Pasadena Municipal Code (P.M.C.) Chapter 12.22 - Telecommunication Facilities in the Public Right-of-way, and all applicable City and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) standards and requirements. All review and response timelines are strictly governed by the FCC shot clock regulations. In addition, the qualified firm(s) shall also be representing the City to perform all telecommunications facilities permit related inspection and construction management services. For reference, the average annual number of permits processed over the last two years was 25. However, it is anticipated that there will be an increase in both submittals and construction activities based on inputs from various telecommunications carriers. The City does not guarantee any minimum amount of work, number of assignments, or hours under this on-call agreement, and services will be requested solely at the City's discretion as needs arise.
