Operational Test and Evaluation Support Services (OTSS) - Testand Evaluation Division (TED)

The Operational Test and Evaluation Support Services contract provides the Transportation Security Administration with comprehensive technical resources for agency-wide field demonstrations, data collection, and analysis. This initiative focuses on the system evaluation of new and improved security screening technologies, specifically targeting credential authentication, explosives detection, prohibited items detection, and alarm resolution within checkpoint and checked baggage screening environments. The scope of work encompasses developmental activities including test preparation, execution, and the creation and verification of test articles, alongside engineering change reviews. To ensure thorough assessment, the contract provides specialized personnel, including subject matter experts in cyber resilience testing and human factor experts for human system integration.
