**Maximo WO# HQ GSXC6F (DESIGN)***USPACOM Replace 3 Trane 266 ton centrifugal chillers. The existing HVAC system in B701 has 3 266 ton Trane chillers that provide chilled water to B700. The 3 chillers have been in operation since 2003. All 3 chillers are leaking refrigerant, are inefficient and have reached the end of their service life. The chillers need to be replaced with new high efficiency chillers. Scope of work: Replace 3 266 ton chillers in B701 with new chillers installed in the existing chillers location. Demolition of the existing chillers and its complete removal from the site. Disconnection and reconnection of the existing chilled water piping to serve the new chiller, miscellaneous piping, fittings, valves, couplings, and pipe insulation as required for a complete and operational system. The new chillers will be connected to Trane Tracer BAS system. Provide testing, adjusting and balancing of water system after installation of new chillers. Upgrade Refrigerant Leak detection system as required. The central plant is required to operate continuously. Installation of the chillers will need to be done one at a time to ensure plant will stay operational throughout install. Energy scope: This energy project will replace three (3) deteriorated 266-ton water-cooled centrifugal chillers located in the PACOM Utility Building 701 with higher capacity and higher efficiency water-cooled centrifugal or screw chillers with VFD controls. Miscellaneous piping, fittings, valves, couplings, and pipe insulation will be also replaced as required for a complete and operational system. The new chillers will be connected to the Trane Tracer BAS system and the existing direct-digital controls (DDC) will be reused. In addition, the existing three (3) 15 horsepower (HP) primary chilled water pumps, (3) 40 HP secondary chil ... NOTE: description has been truncated, please see Project Note for full description.
