R -- Increase to Pension Administration Contract

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to increase the workload under its existing contract with Disciplined Benefit Services, Inc. (DBS), who currently provides professional pension benefit administration support at PBGC's Pueblo, Colorado field office. This augmentation involves an additional 24,050 hours in the current performance period, followed by increases of 59,500 and 72,100 hours in the subsequent two option periods. These increases are driven by an unexpected rise in the number of pension plans assumed by PBGC, necessitating expanded administrative efforts. DBS is considered uniquely qualified to handle these additional responsibilities due to its established familiarity with the complexities of pension administration, in-depth knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and understanding of PBGC's policies and procedures. This expertise allows DBS to effectively manage the increased workload in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring continuity and quality in pension benefit administration services. Gregory N.
