Please see below for the work that NAVCENT is requesting to be performed in Bldg. 260 & 262 in support of an upcoming IT refresh being performed by NIWC. Bldg. 260 Rm. 138C - Repair Ceiling Grid Bldg. 262 Rm. 110 - Demolish ceiling tiles, raise and relocate fire sprinkler, smoke detector, AC ducts, and speakers Bldg. 262 Rm. 205 - Demolish ceiling tiles, raise and relocate fire sprinkler, smoke detector, AC ducts, and speakers Bldg. 262 Rm. 309 - Demolish ceiling tiles, raise and relocate fire sprinkler, smoke detector, AC ducts, and speakers For the fire sprinklers, we request that they be raised 18 inches above the height of the new telecommunication cabinets that will be 84 inches tall. Add grates and fire louvers to the returns. Add security bars on the HVAC duct work where cross section exceeds 96 sq inches. Paint the unfinished areas that are exposed due to drop ceiling removal. Add firestop penetrations, as necessary.
